He wants a dog or a cat and can’t decide.Plz help.Here are some things about him
*he’s 8
*he wants something to protect him
*he can take the responsibility but he needs something to remind him
*he wants something easy to train
*something to cuddle up with
thanks and plz dont say a stuffed 1 or that hes not ready!Plz if u choose dog state which breed and know that we have a weight limit of 25 lbs.

If he needs reminding to take responsibility, a dog is NOT the option. He will forget to take care of it. A dog is like a second child.
A cat is the better option, get him an ownder-dependant one like siamese that will be more likely to cuddle and love him. Having a pet is not about dominating it and making it do as you say trhough training (cats have never been fully trained by humans anyway), its about compansionship and respect.
