Question by Nevis: Living on and island and searching for dog worm remedies?
Hey Guys,
I am currently in the Caribbean for school and I have adopted a local island dog. Unfortunately the health care system here for animals is lacking. I have taken him to the vet and she has given me dewormer, but it has not cured his worms. Is there any advice that someone can give me on how to eradicate the problem. Supplies are limited on the island and it’s hard to go to a store and just pick up a dewormer as there is nothing comparable to a walmart here.

Best bet is to order stuff online…. I use http://www.revivalanimal.com/ to order supplies for our dogs. They dog probably has a large load of worms and will need to be dosed several times to clear them out. then smaller doses at regular intervals because of the constant contact with other dogs poop. Good for you in caring!
